Utah Valley Christkindlmarkt

Utah Valley's first German-style Christmas market fills the courthouse grounds with up to 150 vendors in booths glowing with warm lights and evergreen garlands. Shop handcrafted gifts like nutcrackers, glass ornaments and wool knits, warm up with bratwurst, pretzels, roasted nuts and European hot chocolate, and catch the performance stage and visits from Santa. The German theme has local roots: Meißen, the hometown of BYU pioneer Karl G. Maeser, has been Provo's sister city since 2001.
