Dracula (Ballet West)

Description: Ballet West opens its 2026–27 season, which honors Artistic Director Adam Sklute's 20th year with the company, with the return of Ben Stevenson's gothic full-length. More than 50 dancers, sweeping Transylvanian atmosphere, and explosive theatrical effects in one of classical ballet's most technically demanding productions.

Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan — Blue Hour / Beckoning (UtahPresents)

Description: Taiwan's internationally acclaimed contemporary dance company makes a rare Utah appearance with a double bill. Founded in 1973, Cloud Gate blends Qi Gong, meditation and martial arts with ballet and modern dance to create work of striking physical beauty and meditative power.

Repertory Dance Theatre — Laughter

Description: RDT's evening of joyful, accessible modern dance. Two audience favorites from the 60th anniversary season return, Norbert De La Cruz III's Scherzo Fantastique and Nicholas Cendese's Come Rain or Come Shine. They're joined by a new commission from Francesca Romo, co-founder of Gallim Dance Company.

🎄 The Nutcracker (Ballet West)

Description: America's First Nutcracker™ returns. Willam Christensen's beloved 1944 original — the first full-length Nutcracker ever staged in the United States — remains the Wasatch Front's quintessential holiday tradition for all ages. The run opens in Ogden over Thanksgiving weekend before moving to Salt Lake.

🎄 Grand Kyiv Ballet — The Nutcracker: Symphony of Lights

Description: Ukraine's Grand Kyiv Ballet puts a glowing spin on Tchaikovsky's classic, with illuminated costumes and sets and light design built into the choreography. Runs about two hours with one intermission.

🎄 Christmas Around the World (BYU)

Description: BYU's longest-running campus Christmas tradition. The International Folk Dance Ensembles and Mountain Strings share holiday dances and music from around the globe. This year marks 70 years since the program began in 1956, and special guests include Living Legends and the Rocky Mountain Express Cloggers. Preshow activities start in the concourse an hour before curtain.

Compagnie Hervé Koubi — Sol Invictus (UtahPresents)

Description: French choreographer Hervé Koubi brings Sol Invictus, a high-energy work celebrating light and movement. Koubi's dancers — praised by critics for moving as though they could be mistaken for gods — glide, spin, and toss one another through breathtaking, gravity-defying sequences.

The Glass Slipper (Ballet West — Family Classics Series)

Description: An expanded staging of Pamela Robinson-Harris's Cinderella-inspired work, performed by Ballet West II and Frederick Quinney Lawson Ballet West Academy students. Just over an hour with narration, a perfect, accessible introduction to ballet for audiences of all ages. The April 3 evening performance is narrated entirely in Spanish.
