THE WASATCH WEEK: May 18–24, 2026
Short week, big Tuesday. We've got a homestand at the ballpark, Real Salt Lake closing the book on the first half of its season, and a couple of easy family wins — but everything this week orbits one thing, and it's a Utah story going national.
⭐ FEATURED EVENT — CLEAR YOUR TUESDAY NIGHT
THE SECRET OF SKINWALKER RANCH — SEASON 7 PREMIERE
Episode 1: "All Fired Up"
Utah's most famous patch of high strangeness is back. After six seasons and a national following, The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch returns to HISTORY for Season 7 — and the team is going bigger than ever. Owner Brandon Fugal, astrophysicist Dr. Travis Taylor, chief scientist Erik Bard, ranch superintendent Thomas Winterton and security chief Kaleb Bench are back on the 512-acre property in the Uinta Basin, this season running experiments with high-powered rockets, drone swarms, laser technology and controlled detonations — plus a new satellite tool trained on the ranch.
The premiere, "All Fired Up," picks up after new tests reveal clues about ceramic materials pulled from the Mesa. The team responds by firing extreme heat above the Triangle — and, true to form, something shows up in the sky.
Here at Mountain & Main, we looked at the science, the skeptics and the Utah of it all in our Front & Center story "Are We Alone? The View from Utah," first published earlier this month. Fugal read it and added his own comment on our X account ahead of the premiere: "Great article and overview regarding Skinwalker Ranch and our upcoming season preparing to air this week! The truth is out there 🛸" If you want to get up to speed on Skinwalker Ranch before Tuesday, start here: https://www.mountainandmain-ut.com/front-center/are-we-alone-the-view-from-utah
So make a night of it. Whether you're a believer, a skeptic, or just here for the data and the drone footage, this is appointment viewing — and it's a Utah dateline.
