Salt Lake Valley Concerts
Beyond downtown, the Salt Lake Valley's concert map runs from the shore of the Great Salt Lake to the foothills of the Wasatch. It's home to Utah's biggest outdoor stage, the 25,000-capacity Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, along with arena tours at the Maverik Center, summer nights on the lawn at Red Butte Garden and Sandy Amphitheater, lakeside shows at The Great Saltair, an intimate room at The Commonwealth in South Salt Lake, and jazz and touring acts at the University of Utah's Kingsbury Hall. These venues are spread out, so plan your drive and parking ahead; you'll find the details in each listing. Several outdoor stages close for the season in early fall, so check the season notes. Know Before You Go: General parking is free, but no tailgating and no alcohol in the lots — West Valley PD enforces it. Of the 25,000 capacity, about 18,000 is lawn, so your ticket type matters more than your row. Blankets welcome; lawn chairs with legs over 5" are not. Clear tote up to 12"x6"x12" or a 6"x9" clutch, and the bagless lane is the fastest way in. No re-entry, cashless. (Still shows up as USANA Amphitheatre on older tickets and posters — same place.)

Mötley Crüe returns to the road with a hard rock triple bill that covers three decades of arena excess and guitar-driven swagger. Girls, Girls, Girls, Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart My Heart — with Tesla and Extreme rounding out a night built for fans of the golden era of rock.
Sept 22 | Five Finger Death Punch with Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire
One of heavy metal's most consistent arena-level acts brings a hard-hitting headlining show to West Valley. FFDP's catalog — Wrong Side of Heaven, Bad Company, Wash It All Away — built for loud outdoor nights. Country outlaw Cody Jinks makes for a surprisingly compelling opening act.
Sept 26 | $uicideboy presents Grey Day Tour 2026 w. Shoreline Mafia & more
The New Orleans duo's traveling Grey Day package returns with the deepest undercard of the season. Expect a young, loud crowd and a lawn that never sits down.
Sept 29 | Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber
Billed as the last run for the Shaolin collective, with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on the undercard. Thirty-plus years of catalog — C.R.E.A.M., Protect Ya Neck, Triumph — in what the group is calling its final chamber.
Sept 30 | Breaking Benjamin with Chevelle, STARSET, and Kami Kehoe
A powerhouse hard rock quadruple bill anchored by Breaking Benjamin's arena-sized alternative metal sound. The Diary of Jane, I Will Not Bow, So Cold — with Chevelle, STARSET, and Kami Kehoe making this one of the most stacked rock nights of the fall season.
Oct 1 | Empire of the Sun — Ask That God: Afterlife North American Tour with Polo & Pan and Midnight Generation
The Australian electronic duo brings its costumed, high-concept stage show to the amphitheatre. Walking on a Dream, We Are the People, High and Low — the one night this fall that trades guitars for synths and spectacle.
Oct 7 | Staind: Break The Cycle 25th Anniversary Tour
Four post-grunge staples on one bill — Staind's It's Been Awhile and Outside, Hoobastank's The Reason, and Seether and Hinder rounding out a complete early-2000s rock night. This show closes the 2026 amphitheatre season.
NOTE: Season closes October 7 with Staind, then nothing until Stick Figure on July 8, 2027.

Know Before You Go: Free parking, first-come: lots A, B and C on the grounds, lot D at 3100 South and Decker Lake Drive. TRAX Green Line to the Decker Lake station leaves a short walk. Concert capacity is about 12,000. No bags — small clutches only. No re-entry once you leave, and the building is cashless. Concerts are ticketed as the Canyon View Credit Union Stage at Maverik Center — same building, so don't second-guess your tickets.

Know Before You Go: Parking is the thing to plan for — it's the most common complaint from Kingsbury patrons. Closest option is the parking terrace at 100 South and Wolcott, one block west; some performances charge, so watch for signage. Meters along Presidents Circle are enforced until 8 PM and fill fast, so don't count on them if you're arriving close to curtain. Most E, U and A campus lots are free on weekends and after 8 PM weekdays. Some events route patrons to the Rice-Eccles Stadium or Merrill Engineering lots instead — check your event page. ADA parking sits directly east of the hall, entered from Presidents Circle, first-come. TRAX Red Line to the Stadium station leaves a two-and-a-half block walk up University Street. Reserved seating throughout; programming comes from UtahPresents, and tickets run through ArtTix.

Know Before You Go: Free parking at the lower Garden entrance; note the Garden closes to day visitors at 5 p.m. on concert days. All 3,000 seats are general admission lawn, first-come — arrive early for a good spot. Bring a blanket (4x6 feet max) or a low-back chair: seat no higher than 12" off the ground, back no taller than 32". Picnics and small coolers are fine; no wagons, carts, or glass. Sep 22 | The Revivalists w/ Paul McDonald and the Mourning Doves
Season note: The 2026 Outdoor Concert Series closes September 22 with The Revivalists. Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre is a summer venue — it goes dark through the winter and returns in late spring. The 2027 lineup is typically announced in early spring, with Garden member presales in April, ahead of the general on-sale. Those presales regularly take the best shows before tickets ever reach the public, so if there's an artist you don't want to miss next summer, a Garden membership bought by early April is the way in.

Know Before You Go: Capacity about 650, with raised viewing platforms and a full bar. Most shows are 21+; all-ages nights are noted on the show page and again at checkout. No outside food or drink unless the food trucks are out front, in which case that food comes inside. No flash photography. Know Before You Go: Owned by Sandy City, and one of the more relaxed concert nights in the valley. Parking is free but limited, split between a west lot off 9400 South (closest to the box office) and an east lot off 1300 East by the Sandy Senior Center, with ADA spaces in both, so arrive early. Reserved seats up front and a grass lawn in back; about 2,750 capacity. Unlike most venues, you can bring lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas, coolers (no loose ice), factory-sealed outside food and drinks, and refillable water bottles. No outside alcohol, and bags and coolers are checked at the gate. Beer is sold inside with ID and a wristband. No re-entry. The box office opens an hour before doors on show days and takes card or exact cash only. Gates usually open at 6, with shows at 7.

A Led Zeppelin tribute known for recreating the band's live shows note for note, from "Whole Lotta Love" to "Kashmir," with a laser and light production to match.
Oct 8 | Dwight Yoakam with The Mavericks and Noeline Hofmann
The Bakersfield-sound original brings "Guitars, Cadillacs" and "Fast as You" to Sandy, with The Mavericks making this a double bill for classic country fans.
Season note: Dwight Yoakam on October 8 appears to close the 2026 season. The amphitheater typically reopens in May, with the summer lineup announced in spring.

Know Before You Go: Fifteen miles west of downtown on I-80, Exit 104 — no transit out here, so you're driving. On-site parking is paid and fills up; arrive early, and don't improvise a spot, because unauthorized parking gets towed. Two rooms: the indoor hall holds about 4,000, largely general admission standing with a balcony and VIP boxes above; the outdoor amphitheater, set alongside the building and facing the Great Salt Lake, holds up to 7,000. Which one you're in depends on the show, and it changes what to wear — the lake shore gets cold and windy after sundown even in summer. Most shows are all-ages, but policies vary by event. ADA viewing areas are available with an accommodation form filed ahead. Box office opens an hour before doors on event days, card or exact cash only.
Oct 23–25 | Get Freaky Festival 2026: Neon Nightmare — 18+ — Tickets
Utah's largest Halloween dance music festival, with FISHER and Subtronics headlining across three nights. Doors at 7 PM Friday and Saturday, running to 2 AM; Sunday runs 6 PM to 1 AM. Indoor hall, amphitheater and beach all in use. Parking pass $20 per day.
NOTE: Saltair books much of its calendar through independent promoters on short notice, so shows often don't appear on the major ticketing sites. Check thesaltair.com for the current schedule.
