BYU Women Are One Win From History
5:00 p.m. MDT · ESPN2 · Charles Koch Arena, Wichita, Kan.
BYU's women's basketball team has been on a remarkable run, and tonight it all comes down to one game. The Cougars, the No. 1 seed in the WBIT, take on No. 4-seeded Columbia of the Ivy League for the championship in Wichita. BYU got here the hard way — rallying in the final minutes to edge Kansas 70-67 in Monday's semifinal on the strength of freshman Olivia Hamlin's career-high 23 points. First Team All-Big 12 guard Delaney Gibb has been the engine all tournament, averaging 22.3 points per game and shooting 54.5% from three. First-year head coach Lee Cummard has this program playing its best basketball at exactly the right moment. Watch on ESPN2 or catch the call on BYU Radio 107.9 FM / BYURadio.org. Cougar Nation — tonight's the night.
Jazz Host Denver at the Delta Center
7:00 p.m. MDT · Delta Center, Salt Lake City
→ Jazz Tickets — Delta Center
Late-season NBA, and both teams have real stakes — just different ones. Denver is fighting to protect its seeding heading into the playoffs. Utah, meanwhile, is deep in tank territory, and a loss tonight does them no favors on the court but could do them a world of good in the lottery. The Jazz are chasing the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft — and that pick is widely projected to be BYU's own AJ Dybantsa, the nation's leading scorer this season and the consensus front-runner to go first overall in June. Dybantsa averaged over 24 points a game for the Cougars and dropped 35 in BYU's NCAA Tournament exit against Texas — the kind of performance that had scouts calling the No. 1 debate settled. Jazz fans may be rooting for a loss tonight. It wouldn't be the worst thing. Tickets still available at the Delta Center.
Utah Grizzlies Hockey — Worth Every Dollar
7:10 p.m. MDT · Maverik Center, West Valley City
→ Grizzlies Tickets — Maverik Center
The Utah Grizzlies host the Wichita Thunder tonight in ECHL action. If you've never been to a Grizzlies game, this is your cue — loud, fast, and affordable. The Maverik Center is a fun midweek outing for families or anyone who just wants to get out of the house.
